A Sign Permit is required for most permanent and temporary signs to ensure safety, visibility, and compliance with city regulations.
You may need a permit if:
- Installing a new business sign
- Changing or replacing an existing sign
- Putting up a banner, portable sign, or promotional signage
- Installing an illuminated or digital sign
- Exempt signs (no permit needed) include flags, religious symbols, window displays, and small real estate signs

- Construction and material details
- Illumination method (if applicable)
- Business/property information
- Contractor details (if applicable)
Steps to Apply
- Prepare your sign plan and details.
- Apply online using the application below.
- Zoning Administrator reviews your application.
- Once approved, install your sign per the permit.

- $40 base fee + $1.00 per square foot (per face)
