Application Process
- Complete the following application accurately - copies are also available or in the Clerk's Office.
- If you are unsure about how to respond to any questions on this form, check with the City Clerk for clarification.
- Applicant must submit either as uploads in the following application, emailed to clerk@richalandcenterwi.gov, or delivered to the Clerk's Office
- Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability insurance
- Copy of Wisconsin Company Operating License
- A current driver's license or photo ID for applicant and each driver
- $100 license fee in addition to a $2 application fee per driver is required prior to issuing the license - online payments are accepted.
- Contact the Richland Police Department to schedule an inspection for each vehicle in your fleet, (608) 647-2103.
Review of your application
- The Richland Center Police Department will perform a background check to verify the information you have provided.
- The city may require that additional information, appropriate to the specific type of license requested, be submitted with this application or as a supplement to this application prior to consideration of license issuance.
- City Council will review your application for approval at the next regular monthly meeting.
- If you are asked to appear before the council but choose not to do so, your application may be denied.
- All annual licenses expire on December 31st.
