Application Process

Complete the following application accurately - copies are also available or in the Clerk's Office.
- If you are unsure about how to respond to any questions on this form, check with the City Clerk for clarification.
Applicant must submit either as uploads in the following application, emailed to clerk@richalandcenterwi.gov, or delivered to the Clerk's Office
- Certificate of Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 liability insurance
- Copy of Wisconsin Company Operating License
- A current driver's license or photo ID for applicant and each driver
$100 license fee in addition to a $2 application fee per driver is required prior to issuing the license - online payments are accepted.
Contact the Richland Police Department to schedule an inspection for each vehicle in your fleet, (608) 647-2103.

Review of your application

The Richland Center Police Department will perform a background check to verify the information you have provided.
The city may require that additional information, appropriate to the specific type of license requested, be submitted with this application or as a supplement to this application prior to consideration of license issuance.
City Council will review your application for approval at the next regular monthly meeting.
- If you are asked to appear before the council but choose not to do so, your application may be denied.
All annual licenses expire on December 31st.
