Dumpster Permit
A Dumpster Permit is required to place a dumpster in a City street, alley, or right-of-way (e.g., streets or sidewalks). This helps ensure proper placement, safety, and limited disruption to traffic or pedestrian flow.
You need a permit if:
- A dumpster will be placed in a public right-of-way
- Construction or cleanup requires blocking a portion of street or sidewalk

Steps to Apply
- Submit an application below
- Public Works reviews for placement and safety
- Pay $10 Permit Fee
- Place dumpster as approved - 1 Week (7 days) basis

All Dumpsters MUST have either of the following
- Reflective Barricades clearly marking its location, with one such Barricade being placed in front front of the dumpster, and another such Barricade being placed behind the dumpster
- Reflective Tape in a sufficient amount that it can be easily seen during the day or night, both on the font and back portions of the dumpster
