Arcade License
An Arcade License is required to operate any establishment within the City where members of the public are allowed to play video or electronic games for money, tokens, or anything of value.
You need this license if you:
- Operate a business where customers can play video games or electronic games
- Charge money, tokens, or any other thing of value to play games
- Offer video or electronic games for gain, even if your primary business is food service or retail
What You Need to Apply
- Completed application form (digital)
- Business and operator details
- Location and description of the premises
- Number and type of video/electronic game machines
- Fee payment
Steps to Apply
- Submit the application below - include business details
- Pay the required $50 application fee
- Clerk’s Office reviews application for compliance with City ordinance and the Police Department will perform a background check to verify information provided
- City Council will review your application for approval at the next regular monthly meeting
- Clerk’s Office issues license if approved
- Issued licenses are valid through the first Tuesday of July
