Buildings & Grounds Crew
The City of Richland Center is accepting applications for a full-time position on the Buildings & Grounds Crew within the Public Works Department.
As a Buildings & Grounds Crew Member, you will perform a wide variety of maintenance, custodial, and repair tasks essential to the upkeep of City parks, public facilities, cemetery, and other municipal grounds. Duties include landscaping, snow removal, equipment upkeep, tree care, and general physical labor in all weather conditions. This role supports the City’s mission to maintain safe, clean, and attractive public spaces and works under the supervision of the Buildings & Grounds Crew Lead.
Requirements: Qualified candidates shall have graduated from high school or possess a GED. Should possess experience in the following areas: construction, electrical, plumbing, maintenance, equipment repair, forestry, and horticulture. Valid Driver’s License required. Possession of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred. Candidate must be available for duty beyond the normal workday as required to assist with snow removal, cemetery burials, or other related duties. Starting wage for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (80 hours bi-weekly) depending on qualifications. Successful candidates will be subject to a background check.
