Position Available: Public Works Crew (Spring/Summer Seasonal Position)

Join the Public Works Team! The City of Richland Center Public Works Department is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to support street, park, and facility maintenance operations throughout the summer season. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in preseason staff orientation and training program.
• Attend staff meetings and in-services as directed.
• Follow all department policies and safety procedures.
• Operate various tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance and repair of streets, parks, buildings, and public spaces.
• Conduct preventive checks and basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Perform landscaping activities including mowing, trimming, and weed control.
• Complete trash pickup and cleaning of parks, shelters, restrooms, and public areas. (Must be available to perform this work during rotating Saturdays as scheduled.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Public Works or designee.
