Sidewalk Permit
A Sidewalk Permit is required to construct, repair, or replace sidewalks in the City’s right-of-way.
You need a permit if you are:
- Installing new sidewalks exceeding 60 square feet
- Any work replacing sidewalks across the full frontage of a property
- Minor sidewalk repairs under 60 square feet do not require a permit
What You Need to Apply
- Property address and parcel number
- Sketch of sidewalk area to be constructed or replaced
- Dimensions and materials
- Contractor information (if applicable)
Steps to Apply
- Submit an application below at least 5 business days before work begins.
- Pay $20 permit fee.
- Public Works reviews for compliance with standards.
- Complete construction per City specifications.
