Resolution No. 2026-01 Authorizing Acceptance of a Non-Monetary Donation and Naming of the Dale Bender Community Wellness Trail

This Resolution authorizes the City’s acceptance of a non-monetary donation consisting of blacktop paving improvements and signage to an existing City-owned pedestrian trail along the Highway 14/80 corridor. The Resolution also approves the formal naming of the improved trail segment as the “Dale Bender Community Wellness Trail,” in recognition of Dale Bender’s longstanding service and contributions to the community. The donation and naming were reviewed pursuant to the City’s Donation Policy and Naming and Branding Policy and will be completed at no cost to the City.
