Permits Required

Dumpster permit is required if you want to place a dumpster on the street. For roofing and remodeling projects we recommend that you contract with a waste hauler to have a dumpster brought to your location. If you don’t have room on your property, you must obtain a permit in advance to place the dumpster on the street. To obtain a $10.00 dumpster permit for seven days, you will need to go to the City Clerk / Treasurer’s office at 450 S. Main Street. It will take the Police a couple of days to approve your request.

The City does not collect the following material and they should not be placed at the curb. If the following material is left at the curb, you will receive a notice in the mail. If the material is not removed, it will be removed at your expense: lumber, rocks, concrete, soil, sod, metal, furniture.
