1000 Books Before Kindergarten

The concept is simple. The rewards are priceless!

Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to read 1,000 books (yes, you can repeat books) before your little one starts Kindergarten. If you read just one book a night, you will have read 365 books in one year, 730 books in two years, and 1,095 books in three years. Log your reading in Beanstack and earn badges all along the way, or use paper tracking sheets available at the library.

• For every 100 books, they earn a sticker.
• At 200 books, they earn a toy from the treasure box!
• At 400 books, they earn an activity sheet.
• At 600 books, they earn a book from the prize cart!
• At 800 books, they earn a bracelet.
• At 1000 books, they earn a book and a brag tag!
