Snow Removal Emergency Declared

10PM - Saturday, November 29th to 7AM - Sunday, November 30th

Due to anticipated snow accumulations from the winter storm, the City of Richland Center is declaring a Snow Removal Emergency beginning tonight, Saturday, November 29th, at 10:00 PM, and remaining in effect until 7:00 AM on Sunday, November 30th, unless otherwise lifted.

During this Snow Removal Emergency, no vehicles may be parked on any city street or highway between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Vehicles parked on the street during these hours will be subject to a $15.00 citation and may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Notifications will be provided via WRCO, the City website, Nixle alerts, and the Richland Center Police Department Facebook page.

Overnight off-street parking is available in the following municipal lots:

  • N. Church & E. Court St. Lot – South of the Fire Department
  • N. Central Ave. Lot – South of the City Auditorium
  • N. Jefferson & W. Mill St. Lot – North of Advanced Pump & Well
  • S. Jefferson St. Lot – Across from Kwik Trip
  • S. Church St. Lot – 130 S. Church St.
  • Community Center Lot – 1050 N. Orange St.
  • City Hall Lot – 450 S. Main St.
  • Old Mill Pond Park Lot – 600 W. Seminary St.

Vehicles must be removed from these lots during daytime hours to allow for normal use.
